Napoli, Manchester United, and Manchester City have all expressed an interest in Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa, his agent Cesar Bottega said.
Back in June the 20-year-old, who has three years left on his deal with Shakhtar, said he was pleased after learning of an interest from Napoli and Roma, who were both linked with his services.
His five goals in 27 games for the Ukrainian side last term have not gone unnoticed across the European continent, and Bottega has now confirmed the Italian and Premier League clubs have been sniffing around.
"I have had some contacts with important teams in Italy, Spain and England. Manchester City and Manchester United have informed themselves [about the player]," Bottega said.
"There was an interest from Napoli after they qualified for the Champions League, but in the last few weeks I have not heard from anyone at Napoli."
Yet, despite the links with a transfer, Costa could still remain with coach Mircea Lucescu's squad even though any subsequent offer will be considered.
"The player is happy in the Ukraine and he gets to play Champions League football with one of the most important teams in Europe," added the agent.
"But, if an opportunity from an important league arrives then we will consider it."
