Park Ji-sung feels he's proved his former PSV Eindhoven coach Guus Hiddink wrong.
The South Korean helped the Dutch side to a Champions League semi-final in 2005.
Park said: “I remember Guus Hiddink said I wouldn’t play many games if I went to Manchester United but he wanted me to stay at PSV at the time.
“I met Guus this summer and he said he was proud of me and what I have achieved at United.”
Park is shocked by reports he could leave Manchester United.
The South Korea star has been stunned by close-season stories claiming he is set to move on.
Park, who joined United in 2005 from PSV Eindhoven, said: “There’s no truth at all that I would leave United – I want to stay here and I have no reason to leave.
"I would like to stay here for life, of course – why not? It’s the best club in the world.”
