Manchester United are on the brink of landing Wesley Sneijder after Inter Milan talks last night.
The Sun says United were close to sealing the £35million transfer of Sneijder last night.
United chief executive David Gill was ironing out the final details with representatives of the midfield star and Inter Milan.
Gill had stayed behind in Manchester to complete negotiations on the club record transfer when Alex Ferguson and his squad flew out to the United States on Monday.
