Meulensteen leaves door open for late Sneijder deal

Rene Meulensteen says a move for Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder could still happen this week.

In an interview with Voetbal International, Meulensteen has claimed there is a chance a deal can still happen.

He said: "A player the calibre of Wesley Sneijder could well suit us.

"I've said it before and I repeat it again where there’s a will, there's always a way.”
