Independiente attacker Patricio Rodriguez is being followed by Manchester United.
Rodriguez is being tracked by United ahead of the January market.
Independiente will demand around £10m for Rodriguez and that fee appeals to United, although the Argentine club will hope news of interest from elsewhere will start an auction.
