Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to strengthen his wide options by shopping in Portugal.
Record says Ferguson will choose between Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan and Porto wing-back James Rodriguez in the coming months.
United have an agreement with Benfica giving them first refusal for Gaitan this summer, but no deal is guaranteed due to their asking price.
Rodriguez, meanwhile, has come to the attention of Ferguson after a superb season with Porto.
The Colombia international recently confessed: "I am very happy here, but if that option [Manchester United] came up, I will not deny that I would like to play for a club like this."
