The five red hot Brazilian starlets on pre-contract with Man Utd!

Manchester United have been running the rule over five Brazilian starlets this week.
The quintet have arrived from United's Brazilian partner club Desportivo Brasil.
The Daily Mail says confidentiality agreements prevent Desportivo Brasil from revealing which of their 100-plus teenagers have a pre-contract agreement with United, but it' been revealed that the five players who were spotted at Old Trafford are called Gladstony, Aguilar, Lucas Evangelista, Agnaldo and Rafael Leao.

The five are now visiting Dutch champions Twente, who United plan to use as a holding club for the boys to gain European Union passports.
Striker Aguilar, who was 16 a fortnight ago but was called up by Brazil’s Under 17 squad for training in January.
Aguilar was signed by Belo Horizonte side Cruzeiro in 2009. However, because contracts are not valid before a player’s 16th birthday, Desportivo Brasil were able to take him to Porto Feliz a year ago, prompting an angry reaction from Cruzeiro president Zeze Perrella.
Aguilar’s former coach Joao Paulo Tardim said: "There is no doubt about his quality. Saying he will become a great player is an exercise in predicting the future, but the chances of it happening are very high."

The 26-year-old passed a medical in Manchester earlier this week and has now signed a deal until 2014, after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

Sir Alex's plan to sign Danish keeper was revealed by accident!

Alex Ferguson's plan to sign Danish keeper Anders Lindegaard in January was revealed last night — by accident!

The Manchester United boss has tracked 26-year-old Lindegaard since July and is close to agreeing a deal with Lindegaard's club Aalesunds.

The Norwegian side's chairman Bjarne Haagensen flew to Manchester yesterday for talks over the move.

And in a shock twist last night, Aalesunds' official website accidentally announced the transfer was complete.

It was soon deleted but the statement, which only needed key details adding, said: "AaFK and Manchester United have agreed Anders Lindegaard's switch.

"The agreement was signed recently and it is a dream come true for the Dane.

"He'll will be ready to play for the Red Devils from ..... and the contract lasts until .....

"We wish Anders every success and happiness in Manchester and thank him for a brilliant effort!"

Solskjaer bids farewell to United and takes over at Molde. All the best!!

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will bid an emotional farewell to Old Trafford after agreeing to take the reins of Molde.

Solskjaer has held lengthy discussions with the Norwegian outfit, and is set to be unveiled as the club's new manager on Tuesday.

Former Manchester City striker Uwe Rosler has left his job as temporary coach at Molde after saving the club from relegation.

Now Molde have persuaded Solskjaer to take over in January ahead of the Norwegian season starting again next March.

Molde chairman Erik Berg said on Sunday night: 'It's no secret that we have worked intensely to get Ole Gunnar. But we have not signed any contract yet.'

The 37-year-old, who played 366 games for United, was forced to call time on his playing career in 2007 with a long-standing knee injury.

Man Utd set to sign 15-year-old Norway wonderkid

Reports from Norway suggest Manchester United are set to sign 15-year-old Mats Moller Daehli this week.
The youngster is currently playing for Stabaek in the Norwegian league but could sign this week if the paperwork goes through, reports Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet.
If the deal goes through Daehli will join United on February 1, 2011, after a number of successful trials with the club.
Daehli made his national debut for Norway U-15s this summer in Sweden, and two weeks ago played in a tournament in France. Although Norway lost all their games narrowly, Daehli was named player of the tournament.
Stabaek have neither confirmed or denied reports, but do acknowledge the youngster’s talent.
Stabaek coach Pal Berg insisted the youngster has "superior technique" and is "an exceptional talent" who can "be a complete player".

And their youth boss Morten Tveit told Goal.com UK: “He is one of the best players in Europe in his age group. He is the best player I have ever seen at his age and I have seen a lot of international players at that age.
“He can play right side, left side, maybe off the main striker. He can be a little bit Messi, a little bit Xavi.
“He is outstanding and can be a complete football player. He has the mentality, the technique, his attitude is very good. He has everything. If he misses something, it is the physical side. He has to be stronger. But he is 15 and that will come.”

Bye bye Possebon!

Rodrigo Possebon is leaving Manchester United to return home to Brazil.
The Daily Mail says the 21-year-old midfielder has signed a four-year contract with the Sao Paulo state champions after failing to make the grade at Old Trafford.
Possebon had been tipped for a loan move to Rangers, but preferred to go back to Brazil, where he came to prominence with Internacional before joining United two years ago.
"It was a great experience in Europe, but now I want to adapt again as quickly as possible," he said.

Guess what's the X-factors about Bebe that makes Sir Alex signed him immedietly!

New Manchester United striker Bebe spoke of his delight at completing a 'dream' move to Old Trafford.

The little-known 20-year-old had played only Third Division football in Portugal and a handful of friendlies for his new club, Vitoria Guimaraes, when United made a shock £7.4million move which activated the release clause in his contract.

Bebe, who was raised in a children's home, said: 'I'm very happy.
I had the dream of playing, one day, for a major club. That dream has come true.'

The player's sudden emergence at Guimaraes in pre-season forced United to act quickly and ward off interest from Real Madrid. So, who is the mystery player United have slotted straight into their squad and why has Sir Alex Ferguson invested millions in him?

Bebe? That's not his real name, is it?
Course not. It's Tiago Manuel Dias Correia. But he's been known as Bebe ever since his elder brother called him that.

Is it true that he was raised in an orphanage?
Not quite. It was a children's home for kids whose parents can't provide for them called Casa do Gaiato de Santo Antao do Tojal in Loures on the outskirts of Lisbon. He was born in nearby Cacem and his parents are from Cape Verde, just like his new team-mate Nani.

The whereabouts of his parents was unclear yesterday, though life without them does not appear to have affected him. "The main aspect of his personality is that he is always smiling and happy," said Goncalo Sequeira dos Santos, who manages Portugal's National Homeless World Cup team.

So how did he become a footballer?
He learned to play on the streets but was spotted playing for the Loures junior team by Estrela da Amadora, now in Portugal's Third Division, and came through the ranks there.

Didn't he appear in the Homeless World Cup as well?
Not exactly. He played for the CAIS homeless organisation in the European Street Football Festival in Bosnia last year when, amazingly, he scored 40 goals in six games - more than any team put together. But Portugal's Homeless World Cup squad had already been selected by then and it was too late to change.

So, United got him from Estrela da Amadora?
No. When Bebe's club failed to pay him five weeks ago, he joined Vitoria Guimaraes on a free transfer. They snapped him up and stuck him on a five-year contract with a 9million euro release clause. United agreed to pay but it's still a bit of a gamble for a player who has appeared only in the third division and a handful of friendlies for Guimaraes. They'll be happy with a £7m-plus profit though.

Bebe made his Vitoria debut on July 14, lasting 45 minutes and scoring the opener in a 5-0 win against Fremaunde. He also played a half in each of a 4-2 win against Groningen, a 5-2 defeat against Benfica, a 0-0 draw with Vila das Aves and a 1-1 draw with newly promoted Beira-Mar in which he scored a second half equaliser, before starring, but not scoring, in a 2-0 win against Oliveirense and netting in a standout performance in the 2-2 draw with Póvoa de Varzim. He rounded out the month with an hour - but no goals - in a 1-1 draw against Vila do Conde.

So what made United boss Ferguson move for him?
Fergie's former assistant and current Portugal manager, Carlos Queiroz, recommended the player. Real Madrid were hovering, too, so he can't be too shabby. Apparently Ferguson didn't even meet the player for the first time until earlier this week when he flew over to give evidence for Queiroz in a disciplinary hearing.

Bebe sealed his United move by impressing in a 1-0 friendly defeat against Mata Real, scoring the first in a 4-0 romp against Braganca and hitting the opener in a 2-2 draw against Santo Tirso. He ended his Vitoria career with four goals in 10 pre-season games and was universally reckoned to be the side's best player.

What are his strengths?
He is said to be fast with raw ability and a sweet right foot. At 6ft 2in, he's good in the air as well. Rather like Cristiano Ronaldo, he can play on either flank, through the middle or as a second striker. His former coach at Estrela da Amadora, Jorge Paixao, said: 'He's a player who is the fruit of street football. He learned to play in the street and has that natural creativity, an irreverence, and that makes all the difference.'

United have eight senior strikers now. Will he play this season?
Well, because he's under 21 he will not cost United a slot in their 25-man Premier League squad. And, with Danny Welbeck and Mame Biram Diouf out on loan, he might get a shot.

Zoran Tosic and Tom Heaton left Manchester United

Manchester United winger Zoran Tosic has officially joined Russian side CSKA Moscow on a five-year deal for £8m.

The international winger made just five substitute appearances for the Red Devils. Tosic, who is currently away on World Cup duty, had struggled to feature in Sir Alex Ferguson's first team since joining from Partizan Belgrade in January 2009. After making no Premier League appearances last season, he fired in five Bundesliga goals with Cologne after moving on loan in the New Year.
Despite efforts by the German side to make the switch permanent, CSKA's financial muscle has seen them agree a reported £8 million deal to bring the Serbia World Cup 2010 player to the club.

Cologne admitted earlier this week that they could not afford to keep the 23-year-old, even though they were keen to do so.
Director Michael Meier said: 'We made him an offer to stay. But the sums of money put before him make it hard for any German club to compete.'

CSKA have far more cash and while United are not disclosing the fee, they appear to have made a profit on the player they paid £7million to Partizan Belgrade for.

Meanwhile, Manchester United goalkeeper Tom Heaton has agreed to join Cardiff after rejecting a new contract at Old Trafford.
Heaton, who made 24 appearances during a loan spell at Cardiff in the 2008/09 season, has accepted a permanent move to the Championship club and will join on July 1.

He had failed to make a first-team appearance during his United career, but had been offered the opportunity to stay with the Premier League giants.
However, after spending loan spells at QPR, Rochdale and Wycombe last season, the 24-year-old has opted to link up with Dave Jones' side for the prospect of regular first-team football.

Cardiff boss Jones said: "I'm pleased that we have secured Tom's services from Manchester United.
"We all know about the lad from his time on loan here and know that we have signed a very talented young player.

"United had offered him a new contract, but Tom's attitude was that he wanted to play, which says a lot about him as a player and a professional. He will certainly be a welcome addition to our ranks.

Adios..Ben Foster

Birmingham have completed the £6million signing of Ben Foster from Manchester United, with the England goalkeeper signing a three-year contract.

The fee was agreed between the two clubs last week and Foster has completed a medical to seal his Old Trafford exit.

Foster struggled to impress despite a run of first-team appearances with United this season, but he leaves with Sir Alex Ferguson describing him as the best goalkeeper England have.

'I think he deserves the opportunity to do better for himself,' said the United boss.

‘That's the reason we accepted the offer. I feel and I still am very strong about this, I think he's the best English goalkeeper in England.

Although he began last term with high hopes of ousting Edwin van der Sar from his status as United's first-choice keeper, Foster's chance disappeared with high-profile mistakes against Manchester City and Sunderland during a two-month period at the start of the campaign when the veteran Dutchman was missing through injury.

Despite these blunders, Foster was handed successive England starts, against Belarus and Brazil, leading to an expectation he would claim a place in Fabio Capello's World Cup squad.

Instead, Ferguson kept him on the sidelines for almost the entire remainder of the season, meaning the 27-year-old was not one of the men in Capello's provisional squad when he named it last week.

After five years at United, two of which were spent on loan at Watford, Foster had accepted there was no future for him at the club, especially as Sir Alex Ferguson persuaded Van der Sar to sign another year's contract extension.
