Sir Alex Ferguson has indicated he'd welcome a new tie-up with Royal Antwerp.
The Belgians are keen to revive their partnership with United.
"The alliance with Antwerp worked very well," Ferguson said. "It's beneficial playing in Europe with a different culture and it helped all those players."
"Those players" included John O'Shea and Fraizer Campbell, now with Sunderland.
