Manchester United are seeking loan clubs for strikers Kiko Macheda and Mame Biram Diouf.
The Evening Chronicle says Newcastle have been offered Manchester United young guns Diouf and Macheda, but the club are gunning higher with their striker targets.
Diouf spent last season on-loan at Blackburn Rovers, while Macheda had six months at relegated Sampdoria in Italy.
