Sir Alex Ferguson has appeared to admit he is uncertain about Dimitar Berbatov’s future at Manchester United.
When asked on French TV whether Berbatov could move to Paris Saint-Germain, Sir Alex said smiling: “Yes, he might. That’s possible.”
It is not clear whether Sir Alex fully understood the question but his response has made headlines across France this morning.
Reports claim that United could ask for around £20 million for the striker, which would result in a loss of £10m on the amount they paid Tottenham three years ago.
But United chief executive David Gill revealed at the weekend that the club are not looking to sell Berbatov.
