Sir Alex Ferguson is happy seeing so may Scots in Premier League management.
Ferguson, speaking this week, claimed the reason why Glasgow has produced so many top managers can be found in the grounding the city gives its inhabitants and the life skills it instills from an early age.
"Scotland can produce people with great determination," he said. "You've now got seven managers in the Premier League, all from Glasgow. It's an amazing feat.
"Generally, when Scottish people come down to England or travel anywhere, they want to do well. And they have a certain determination about them that helps them to do well.
"That brings a certain determination, desire, and also a great work ethic to do well.
"There's probably only Kenny Dalglish who is anywhere near my age level.
"He's 60 now, so still 10 years younger than me. But Kenny would be from that generation I'm talking about, whereas the others have benefited from a different generation and better conditions in life.
"The young lads from Scotland who are becoming managers at the moment, they're a different generation to me - Steve Kean at Blackburn, Paul Lambert at Norwich."
