Paul Gascoigne says Manchester United are the only team he'd pay to watch.
Former Tottenham and Newcastle United star Gazza has always said he regrets turning down United early in his career.
He told talkSPORT: “I’ve not watched a lot of football lately but these young kids are at Man United are the ones I’d pay to watch.
“I’m not a great fan now I’m not playing. I just can’t believe how bad the standard is sometimes and how much they get paid.
“How can someone be happy sitting on the bench every week, even if they are getting paid 60 grand? I’m not bitter, I don’t care how much they earn, as long as they try their best in training and work their nuts off.
“Young players don’t have to clean boots, or scrub toilets or anything, and football has suffered because of it. But the way those kids at United play is great.”
