Sir Alex Ferguson has told Ryan Giggs to forget about the Wales job.
The Sun says United boss Fergie wants Giggs, 38, to focus solely on playing after recently revealing he will be offered a new contract at Old Trafford.
A Welsh insider said: "Ryan was always seen as Gary's natural successor but Sir Alex said 'no chance'."
